We Were Promised Jetpacks is not the typical indie band you find today. Instead of the usual melodic and electronic tunes we see from many indie acts, We Were Promised Jetpacks offer thunderous bellowing vocals and an intense emotional filled sound.

And that was what we received when the 4-piece Scottish band came to perform at the Loft last week. WWPJ’s performance literally shook the floor of the Loft as the blaring voice of lead singer, Adam Thompson, echoed throughout Price Center East making it difficult for any UCSD student to study.
